Flibberty Gibberty Ltd in Balham offers a dynamic Ofsted approved childcare solution for busy parents. All programmes have been designed to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children aged 5-11. Our club operates from 8 am to 4 pm, with flexible daily or weekly booking options. Our experienced and fully trained staff ensure each day is filled with creative arts and crafts, engaging games, and exciting sports activities. Additionally, we accept tax-free childcare vouchers, including those from Edenred and other government schemes.   • What do you offer at Flibberty Gibberty?
    Flibberty Gibberty is an arts and crafts based camp that runs in the school holidays only. We keep children busy crafting, but that’s not all we do! The children are offered weekly trips or special guest activities (usually once a week on Wednesdays).
  • What is the cost to attend the camp?
    The cost of Camp is £35 daily and £150 per week. Extra activities have a separate cost that you will be informed of.
  • What time does the camp open and close?
    Camp opens at 9am and closes at 3pm unless you have booked extended hours. Extended hours are between 8-9am (£6) and 3-4pm (£6). Between 8 am and 9am, you will need to call the camp number for an adult to come and collect your child/ren at the gate.
  • Where is the camp based?
    Flibberty Gibberty is based at: Rutherford House School 217 Balham High Road Balham SW17 7BQ
  • What does a typical day at Flibberty Gibberty look like?
    Children who are booked on for extended hours can arrive anytime from 8am. Gates open at 8.55am where staff member will greet children. Gates close at 9.15am. The children have a brief circle time where we talk share expectations of the day and play games (icebreakers) to get the children ready for the day. The children will start their main activity before lunch and usually complete it after. Snack time is 10.30 and lunch time is 12pm. We provide a snack at 2pm which will vary (e.g. fruit, biscuit, popcorn, rice cakes). We will always check allergies. If you prefer your child not to have an extra snack, please let us know. The children have two main breaks a day, one before lunch and one after. At the end of the day the children will be brought down to the gate at 3pm unless they are booked in for extended hours. Children are booked in for extended care will be given and extra snack and have extra playtime.
  • I am late dropping my child to the camp, what should I do?
    The gate will close promptly at 9.15 as we want to get the day started as soon as possible. If you arrive after this time, please call 07950 857956 and a member of staff will come and collect your child from the gate. *PLEASE NOTE ON TRIP DAYS CHILDREN WILL NEED TO BE PUNCTUAL AS WE WILL NEED TO LEAVE PROMPTLY*
  • I am late collecting my child, what should I do?
    If you are late between 3pm and 4pm, you will be charged a standard fee of £6, which is the cost of the extended day. If you are late after 4pm you will be charged £10 for every 15 minutes. Please call or text 07950 857956 to inform us of any delays to picking up your child/ren.
  • My child will be attending with friends\Siblings; will they be able to stay together?
    Children choose who they play with and have the freedom to sit wherever they wish when taking part in activities. Occasionally an activity may require different ages groups to sit together, however we will still make arrangement for siblings and friends if it makes the children more comfortable and confident.
  • Do you provide lunch?
    You will need to provide a lunch for your children and one snack. Please make sure your children have some healthy filling options that will sustain them for the day. The children are able to refill water bottles at the fountain, so please make sure they have a reusable water bottle. *PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE A NUT FREE POLICY. IF YOUR CHILD HAS NUTS IN AN ITEM IN THEIR PACKED LUNCH IT WILL BE TAKEN FROM THEM*
  • My child needs support, are they able to attend the camp?
    We will need to work together to plan how best to support your child at camp. If your child has a one to one we are more than happy for them to come along and support your child, as long as they provide us with a current DBS. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide children with one to one support, however we will endeavour to support your child to a highest standard while they are with us at camp.   • Can I contact Flibberty Gibberty to discuss my booking?
    You can email us at info@flibbertygibberty.co.uk. During Camp hours, you can contact us on 07950 857956 for on site queries.
  • What if I need to cancel my booking?
    Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds for cancelled sessions. In exceptional circumstances we may be able to rearrange your booking, but please note that this is at our discretion and not guaranteed.
  • Are all activities included in my booking?
    All activities will be included in your booking unless there is a specific trip or a guest workshop (usually on a Wednesday). The extra charge will be added to the session at the time of booking.
  • Do you accept tax-free childcare?
    Yes. We accept payment from the Government Tax-free scheme as well as Edenred (P21341626), Kiddivouchers, Bravo Benefits and EnjoyBenefits. We are able to register with other providers if you do not see yours in the list. When booking, please use code TAXORVOUCHER at checkout (this will bring your balance to zero, however your booking will be provisional). Once your booking has been made, You will have 48 hours to make and send proof of payment to info@flibbertygibberty.co.uk. Failure to make payment within 48 hours, will result in your booking being cancelled.
  • How do I make booking?
    When making a booking for the first time, you will need to create a log in. If you are making a booking on the website for the first time you will need to fill in a registration form, in the 'Registration' section. You will need to fill out a registration form for each child even if your child has previously attended Flibberty Gibberty. Once you have registered please visit the booking page where you can click on the sessions you require. If you are booking for more than one child, you will need to add sessions to the basket per child.
